Internal family systems therapy
for High-Achievers, Founders + People Ready to Go Deeper
What is Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy?
Internal Family Systems, known as IFS, is a evidence-based, non-pathologising approach to psychotherapy developed by Dr Richard Schwartz. At its core, IFS recognises that we are all made up of multiple parts: inner voices, feelings, and patterns of behaviour that developed to protect us, often from very early experiences.
Unlike traditional talk therapies, IFS doesn't try to eliminate or manage these parts. Instead, it works to understand them, by meeting each part with curiosity and compassion, and helping the whole system come into greater harmony and balance.
At the heart of IFS is the concept of Self: a calm, clear, compassionate core that exists within every person, regardless of their history or how much pain they've been carrying. As an IFS therapist, I help you access that Self-energy and use it to heal.
IFS is particularly powerful in an intensive format, where deeper work can happen in a concentrated period of time, making it an increasingly popular choice for high-achievers, founders, and people who want to go further, faster.
What is so unique about Internal Family Systems?
Many people arrive at IFS after years of coaching or talk therapy that helped a little, but didn't go deep enough.
IFS goes to the root: to the parts that formed in response to early experience and that no amount of strategy or insight has been able to shift.
IFS engages those parts and helps them heal and grow.

You’ve tried everything to feel better, but nothing’s really worked.
Despite trying therapy in the past, and despite being a “really good student”, nothing has worked in the way you hoped it would. You’re still waiting for that shift, that change, that… inner peace.
You’re still struggling with:
Anxiety & dread at a time in life when you’re sure you should be feeling content.
Imposter feelings despite the promotions.
Self-doubt despite the accolades.
Often feeling triggered, resentful and reactive at work, in your relationships or with family members.
Internal family systems, the ground-breaking psychotherapy, can help.
This nuanced and specialised approach offers new pathways to healing and a blueprint for living in a more aligned and self-compassionate way.
In IFS we recognise we are multiple and all parts of us are welcome. The one simple aim of IFS is to increase your sense of self-love, in order to balance and harmonise your inner system.
The impact of IFS is certainly felt in the therapy room experience, but the practice quickly becomes a sacred source of wisdom, connection and comfort that you can draw upon in all aspects of your life.
The Science of IFS
IFS is grounded in the understanding that we all have parts living within us that fulfil both healthy and more extreme roles. Life events and trauma can force parts into extreme roles but, importantly, these are not fixed. With time, understanding and processing, real change is possible.
IFS draws on tried and tested techniques from neuroscience, including memory reconsolidation, to help you move forward from pain and toward the life you actually want.
Working with me
IFS is a deeply experiential modality — the best way to understand it is to experience it. I currently work exclusively in an intensive format, offering multi-day IFS therapy intensives for high-achievers, founders and people ready to do deep, focused work. I am not currently accepting new weekly therapy clients.
