Wait, what is A trauma intensive with IFS + Brainspotting anyway?

A focused and bespoke trauma Intensive offers the chance to schedule a multi-hour period of focused time to explore a specific issue so that you can gain healing and resolution quickly and so that you can change the way it is affecting you in the day-to-day.

Being immersed and held in your own specialised trauma intensive over a number of days, and that utilises the most powerful, up-to-date and renowned processing and healing tools of Internal Family Systems and Brainspotting, means that healing, even from very old wounds and traumatic experiences, comes quickly, deeply and sustainably.

We will use the holistic, powerful and increasingly popular tools of IFS and Brainspotting to make your intensive as effective as possible. The results given by these tools when used separately and in combination over a concentrated period of time can be immense and transformative.

Trauma Intensives can be done over 3-6 consecutive days or with a short gap between sessions. Packages are outlined below but other options can also be created with your exact needs in mind (wait-lists may apply and in-person experiences in SE Asia are more limited).

Pre-Intensive workbook

If you are not an existing client, you will be sent a personalised workbook to complete prior to our session. This offers practical information and a comprehensive, personalised set of pre-assessments. It also enables me to situate myself in your story, gather information and ask for any required clarification prior to us meeting together.

Pre-intensive
Session

This 90 minute session will take place 1-3 weeks before your intensive session. During this time, we will set goals, consider your concerns and questions and assess the right pathway for you with your intensive experience.

trauma Intensive
Session

Your trauma intensive will run between 9 and 24 hours depending on your needs, the experience(s) you’re focusing on and your personal choice. The intensive will be customised based on the pre-session and your personalised workbook content.

This deep-dive session is fully curated to your needs to maximise the transformation and healing and the tools of Brainspotting and IFS will be applied throughout in an intuitive, integrated and effective way.

I will always check in on you during our time, in order to attune to the intensity levels you are experiencing and how things feel for you.

Post-Intensive Follow-Up

After the session, we will book in a follow-up session of 90 minutes. This session will involve processing time as well as accountability so that the healing becomes embedded in your system.

As well as an opportunity to reflect on your healing, we can also explore options for your continued journey in growth and healing.

  • Brainspotting therapy works by directly tapping into the brain's autonomic and limbic systems, located within the central nervous system and finding traumas as they link to where you look, gaze or fixate with your eyes.

    As a therapeutic method it can offer incredibly powerful processing and healing as well as deep attunement with yourself, guided by your trained Brainspotting therapist, that can continue far beyond the sessions themselves.
