IFS-informed men's circle for high-performing founders and executives | Inner North with Lucy Orton

Inner North™ | your internal north star

You have built something real.

You know how to perform, lead, and deliver. But somewhere in the gap between who you are in the world and who you are when no one is watching, something has been quietly left behind.

Not broken. Not lost. Just forgotten in the relentless momentum of building, closing, shipping, leading.

Inner North™ is an Internal Family Systems-informed membership circle for high-performing men who are ready to go there.

FOUNDING COHORT | OCTOBER 2026 | LIMITED PLACES

The men in this circle are exceptionally capable in all DIRECTIONS but one.

You can read a room in seconds during tense negotiations. But you cannot always read yourself.

You have made decisions worth millions under pressure. But you freeze when it comes to saying what you actually need.

You are the person others bring their hardest problems to. But when did you last bring yours somewhere?

You want to be a better father, a present partner, a fuller version of yourself. But the tools that built your career do not build that.

You have navigated high-stakes deals, pivots, and market collapses with your logic intact. But your nervous system has been running hot for years.

You may already be in a men's group. And you are quietly aware that it does not quite go where you need it to go.

This is not a performance problem. It is not a time problem. It is a depth problem. And depth requires a different kind of container.

A small, curated group. Serious facilitation. Real depth.

What the year holds

Inner North™ runs on an annual cycle aligned to 40 working weeks. Everything below is included for every member.

Where the circle begins

Every member starts with a private one to one session with Lucy. Not an intake form. Not an assessment. The first real piece of work. Lucy gets to know your specific landscape, your parts, your history, and what has brought you here before you ever sit in a group call. Founding members begin with two private sessions.

01.

Twenty calls across the year, approximately fortnightly across 40 working weeks. Split across time zones so wherever you are in the world, one works for you. The heartbeat of the circle. Expect the kind of conversation that makes everything else feel a little clearer.

live group calls

02.

Twenty sessions across the year. Submit a question, a situation, or a part of yourself you are trying to understand. Named or anonymously. Lucy responds in depth, in front of the group. These sessions are added to a growing library every member can access. Every question answered becomes a resource for the whole circle. The collective growth and Self energy compounds.

03.

Twenty sessions across the year. Regular space for focus, accountability, and the quiet companionship of working alongside other driven men. Facilitated by Lucy or a trusted member of her team.

Private community

04.

A closed space where the conversation continues between calls. Peer connection, shared insight, and the kind of honest exchange that is genuinely hard to find anywhere else at this level.

Built on IFS + relational depth work.

Inner North™ is grounded in Internal Family Systems (IFS), one of the most sophisticated and genuinely compassion and connection-building models in contemporary psychology. IFS understands that we are not one thing. We are a system of parts, each with its own history, its own logic, its own role to play.

The parts that drive your ambition. The parts that disconnect you from your partner without meaning to. The parts that cannot stop running threat assessments at 2am. The parts that know something important is missing but cannot quite name it.

IFS does not pathologise any of it. It gets curious. And in that curiosity, something tends to shift.

Alongside IFS, Inner North™ draws on Relational Life Therapy, developed by Terry Real, which names with unusual precision the cost of how many high-performing men have learned to be in relationship, and what becomes available, spacious and truly human, when that changes.

You do not need to know either framework to join. You just need to be willing to look inside.

Chris Burris IFS Institute quote on healing in community | Inner North men's healing circle with Lucy Orton

“People are meant to discover, heal, and grow in community.”
Chris Burris, IFS Institute

FOR MEN WHO ARE DONE WITH SURFACE LEVEL

The struggle I had with other therapists is that sometimes it feels like it’s not structured at all, it’s going everywhere. With you, I felt like it was the right amount of following the system, but still trying to achieve something and going somewhere. That was reassuring for my maximising, driven parts.

  • Therapy and inner work for founders and entrepreneurs | Inner North men's circle

The founder who has everything and still feels the gap

You have built something significant. The exits, the raises, the recognition. And yet. There is a version of yourself you have not quite been able to reach in the midst of all of it. The one your kids need at dinner. The one your partner has been waiting for. The one you promised yourself you would become once things settled down.

  • Inner work for high performers with burnout and nervous system dysregulation | Inner North

A high performer whose nervous system has been running hard for too long

You are good under pressure. Exceptionally good. But pressure has become the only mode. The volatility you navigate in markets, in deals, in organisations has lodged inside you in ways that do not switch off. You want to lead from a different place. Calmer. More present. More yourself.

  • Men's circle for better relationships and parenting | Inner North with Lucy Orton

Men who want to be better in the relationships that matter most

Not just a good provider. Not just a functioning partner. You want to actually be there. For your children in the way that counts. For your relationship before it quietly runs out of road. You know the gap between the father and partner you intend to be and the one that shows up when you are depleted, distracted, or defended. That gap is what this is for.

A note on fit:
Inner North™ has a clear philosophical centre. It is relational, integrative, and grounded in the belief that genuine strength comes from wholeness and community, not performance. This is a circle built around soft power, humanness, and the courage it takes to look inward with less armour.

Men looking to harden, to compete, or to process grievances with others will not find what they are looking for here. Intake is by application. Not everyone will be the right fit, and that is by design.

Client testimonials

“It was truly an amazing experience working with you.

This was everything I hope it’d be - and more.”

— MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL , US

“What I didn't expect was someone who could match my pace, see through every layer of professional armour, and still make me feel completely safe. “

— TECH LEADER, PORTUGAL

“By the end of the week I woke up and genuinely liked who I was. I hadn't felt that in a long time. If you're a high-performer who thinks he's too complex or too self-aware to be helped - you're exactly who this is for."

ABOUT LUCY

Lucy Orton is a certified positive psychology coach, registered counsellor, IFS Institute-trained therapist, and Relational Life Institute trained coach. She holds an Australian Counselling Association registration and her unique corporate background as a WPP Fellow and advertising strategist means she understands the world high-performing men actually live in; not as an observer, but from the inside.

In her specialist private practice, Lucy works exclusively in intensive formats with high-achieving individuals and couples across SE Asia and globally. She has been witness to thousands of hours in deep therapeutic work with founders, executives, and professionals navigating the particular weight of high achievement. She is also a certified sex therapist, a PhD candidate in Clinical Sexology and a Phase 5 Brainspotting practitioner.

Inner North™ was not born from a business idea. It was a clinical observation. The men in Lucy’s global practice kept describing the same thing: men's groups that stay a little surface, mindset groups for global entrepreneurs that encourage pushing through the overwhelm and struggle. Good intention, but not enough depth. She knew she could build something different. So she did.

YOUR FACILITATOR, COACH AND GUIDE

october 2026 launch

A small founding cohort. Men who help shape the circle from the beginning and carry a different relationship to what gets built.

Founding members join on an annual cycle at a preferential investment that is locked for the lifetime of their membership. They begin with two private sessions with Lucy rather than one. And they enter a circle that, by design, will never be this intimate again.

The founding cohort is limited. When it is full it is full.

Investment details shared on application.

If this has landed, register here.

No commitment. No sales call. Just a note that you are interested, and Lucy will be in touch with details about the founding cohort of Inner North™ when the time comes.

Intake is by application and spaces in the founding cohort are very limited by design. Registering your interest means you will hear first.

Note: Investment details are shared on application. Founding cohort members join at a preferential rate.

FAQs

What does a typical group call look like?

Each call runs for approximately 90 minutes. Sessions open with a brief check-in before moving into the substantive work, which might be a facilitated IFS exploration, working with a theme that has emerged for members, or processing something live in the room. No two sessions are identical. The direction follows what is alive in the group.

How many men are in the circle?

Inner North™ is deliberately small. The founding cohort will be between 6 and 12 men. This is a design decision, not a constraint. Depth requires intimacy and intimacy requires a container that can hold it.

How long is the commitment?

Inner North™ runs on an 12 month cycle. The year is a complete container, twenty group calls, twenty co-working sessions, twenty office hour opportunities, and year-round community access across forty working weeks. Members who wish to continue roll into the following year.

Is this therapy?

No. Inner North™ is a healing circle and coaching and facilitation programme grounded in IFS frameworks and relational depth work. It is not a substitute for individual therapy and does not constitute a therapeutic relationship. Men navigating acute mental health challenges are encouraged to seek individual clinical support alongside or instead of the circle.

How is this different from other men's groups?

The facilitation and the IFS depth. Often men's groups are peer-led or lightly facilitated. Inner North™ is held by a clinician, Lucy Orton, with thousands of hours of intensive one to one work with high-performing men, trained in IFS and group work specifically, Relational Life Therapy, and Brainspotting. The depth available in this container is a direct function of who is holding it and the rigour of the frameworks underneath it.

What is the investment?

Inner North™ is an annual membership programme. Investment details and founding cohort pricing are shared on application. Founding cohort members join at a preferential rate that is locked for the lifetime of their membership. Register your interest below and Lucy will be in touch personally.

Very well. A number of Inner North™ members will also choose to work with Lucy individually through her intensive format. The group and one to one work complement each other naturally. The circle surfaces material that the intensive can go deeper into, and the intensive work integrates more fully when there is an ongoing community to return to. If you are interested in combining both, that conversation happens at the onboarding session.

Does this work alongside individual
therapy or intensives?

How do I join?

Register your interest using the form on this page. Lucy will be in touch personally. There is no sales call required to get further information. Intake is by application and the founding cohort is limited by design.
